Lyric Jumble
I’m searching for a song tonight
But I wonder where were you
So I’m following the map that leads to you
Knocked on your door with heart in my hand
I’m changing all of the stations
You’re crazy and I’m out of my mind
Got nothing in my brain
Cause I know you’re an old fashioned man
First kiss just like a drug
Got my head spinning, no kidding, I can’t pin you down
I stay up too late
But I keep cruising
Music tastes of Mrs. Peck
I had Mrs. Peck answer all of the questions on music. 80’s music reminded her of her childhood and that isn’t very surprising do to her age. I find it funny to think about which 80’s hairstyle she spent hours achieving in the mirror as she jammed out to her favorite music group Def Leppard. This is her favorite band because they rock and then Garth Brooks is also a favorite of hers because he is incredibly talented. A song that reminds her of her husband, Josh, is “Miss you in a Heartbeat” by the one and only Def Leppard. The song “Simple Man” reminds her of her children while anything that has to do with Johny Cash reminds her of her parents. Mrs. Peck does not go to many concerts but her most memorable one is a Def Leppard. When thinking about this concert is reminds her of her best friend before she passed away. Some of Mrs. Peck’s favorite radio stations include 92.9, 95.5, 96.5, and 106.7. I find this kind of weird that she listens to the same stations that I do, it makes me wonder how often we are listening to the same song on different parts of town jamming out. I only sing along when I’m alone in my car but then I annoy myself so I stop. Mrs. Peck on the other hand ALWAYS sings along. She has been known to quietly sing while her class is working on projects. The rappers in her day were pretty controversial. An example she gave of that was Tu-Pac. Music doesn’t really offend her but when it gets to trashy she will change the station. A singer that she finds extremely annoying is Ke$ha. She refuses to listen to her music.
